Amy Drake's newsletter accused the author of being a political tool for the Republican Party just before the primary. She claimed he deleted articles to hide his affiliations and misrepresented his newspaper as a political hit piece. Instead of addressing her record, she focused on personal attacks, creating an elaborate conspiracy narrative.
